Students in a school are given their performance status in a course as indicated below. The course is of 2 years duration covering eight papers of 100 marks each, four papers in each year.
(i) In order to qualify minimum of 50% marks in each paper and minimum of 53% aggregate for both the years together is required.
(ii) If a student get a 85% or more in aggregate and 75% or more in each paper, the distinction is to be awarded,
(iii) If a student gets minimum of 55% in aggregate and gets less than 50% but more than 45% in maximum of two papers (but both the papers are not in the same year), to be qualified with grace marks.
(iv) If a student gets minimum of 53% in aggregate and has less than 50% but more than 40% in maximum of two papers (but both the papers are not in the same year), to be allowed to appear for re-examination
